Newark Valley - Attic Insulation - Blown Cellulose

There's a lot of attention to detail that goes in to attic insulation here at Foam It Insulation. We know that attics tend to be very leaky in terms of air escaping out or leaking in, taking the cool and hot air that homeowners pay to heat/cool with it. We air seal and gaps and cracks that are found in the attics, ensuring that air is no longer escaping or leaking in, then we utilize TruSoft cellulose or closed cell spray foam, depending on the needs of the homeowner. 

In this case, we sealed the gaps and holes in the ceiling of the attic first, then did some work sealing around the chimney and lights before open blowing our TruSoft Cellulose insulation into the attic for the homeowner. This type of insulation is a natural pest deterrant and also will not mold, plus it has a fire retardant mixed in as well for added piece of mind.
