This Church in Montrose, PA had been the victim of a fire and when the church was refinished, no insulation was put in place. We aimed to remedy the lack of insulation for the church by dense packing the walls with our TruSoft cellulose insulation. The siding of the church was first carefully removed, then 2 1/2 inch holes were drilled every few inches apart so we could ensure that the walls would be densely packed and the air they were paying to heat and cool could not escape and be wasted to the outdoors. Once the holes were dense-packed with TruSoft cellulose insulation, they were holes were sealed with a cedar plug and one part foam to ensure a great seal. The siding was then carefully replaced. We also used our closed cell spray foam on the foundation walls to stop air leaking through the church foundation.
This Montrose, PA homeowner wanted to have his new garage spray foamed so that he could utilize the garage year round as opposed to seasonally. For this new construction, we proposed to spray 2 inches of closed cell spray foam to the walls of the garage, and 3 inches of closed cell spray foam to the roof deck.
The end result is a newly constructed garage that is ready for whatever projects this homeowner has in store for it, year round.
These homeowners in Montrose, PA wanted a bit more warmth in the master bedroom where the vanity sat, as several rugs laid down on the floor still felt like walking on ice to these homeowners. Our assessment showed these homeowners that the insulation they had currently was inadequate and keeping the floors cold. We proposed to remove the fiberglass batts and replace it with closed cell spray foam, as well as dense packing the floor between the garage and addition to the home with TruSoft cellulose insulation. This resulted in warmer floors for the walk in closet of the master bedroom.
