This attic was insulated with TruSoft Insulation after the pre-existing fiberglass insulation was removed. Fiberglass insulation does not properly air seal homes so the removal of the fiberglass and the installation of the TruSoft Insulation will now completely insulate, air seal, and protect the home from the outside conditions.
This customer wanted 4 feet of spray foam down the basement walls, covered with a fire retardant layer.
This customer asked for 4 inches of closed cell spray from starting from the top of the basement walls. This was also treated with a fire retardant, as it the closed cell spray foam would be left exposed as opposed to being finished later on.
The attic of this home in Maine, NY needed insulation.
For this project, 4 inches of closed cell insulation was sprayed to the roof deck and walls. The living space below will now be considerably more comfortable.
This attic in a home in Maine, NY wasn't well insulated.
In order to correct that, the attic was air sealed. 12 inches of cellulose insulation was then blown in. The attic is now fully insulated and the home will be more comfortable as a result.
