Foam It Insulation Before & After Photos

This Johnson City, NY home had been recently purchased and there was a lot of work to do.

As part of a larger project, the attic was insulated using an open blow of 14 inches of cellulose insulation.  Along with the air sealing that was done first, the rooms below show a noticeable amount of improvement in their comfort.

We sprayed 3 inches of closed cell foam to the roof deck and gable ends.  This attic is now well insulated and the rooms below are much more comfortable.

Seen here is a side attic.  The roof deck was sprayed with 4 inches of closed cell foam and 2 inches were sprayed to the gable ends.  Along with other aspects of the project.  This will help to make the home more comfortable for years to come.

We spray 2 inches of closed cell foam to the top plate, rim joist and the foundation wall, seen here.  This will very much improve the comfort of the basement and the rooms above.

To the existing 3 inches of fiberglass already in place, we added 12 inches of blown in cellulose.  This will vastly improve the insulation, which will vastly improve the comfort of the home.
