Foam It Insulation Before & After Photos

This home in Candor, NY was lacking insulation beneath the home, causing winters to be quite cold indoors due to air from the cold outdoors coming inside through the brick and stone. Spraying our closed cell spray foam to these walls two inches thick was enough to seal the walls and ensure that air will not be able to penetrate through the brick and stone as before, leaving the homeowners with a much warmer home in the cold winter months. 

This home was having some issues with dampness beneath the home which made it colder in the winter, felt by drafts and cold floors. For this home, our best way to help the homeowner was to encapsulate the crawl space beneath the home. 

First, drainage matting is laid down - this matting has airspace for water to flow underneath which is then covered with foam containing a vapor barrier, and then our cleanspace poly liner is put over it. Then, we seal around the liner with our Closed Cell Spray Foam.

This Candor, NY homeowner had previously had a roof leak, and it was discovered there was no insulation in the attic. We proposed to air seal the attic by using spray foam in the rim joists, sealing around light fixtures and at the top plates, then doing an open blow of our TruSoft cellulose insulation. We did an open blow on the attic flat, filling the attic with 14 inches of our TruSoft cellulose. 

The end result is a much more comfortable home that will help this homeowner reduce their fuel and energy bills. 

This Candor, NY home has half a crawl space, and half a basement beneath it. We proposed to do a full CleanSpace system to the crawl space, laying down drainage matting, terrablock and our CleanSpace vapor barrier. The Cleanspace vapor barrier was also adhered to the crawl space with with 2 inches of Closed Cell Spray Foam. 2 inches of closed cell spray foam was also sprayed into the rim joists of the basement/crawl space, and 2 inches of closed cell spray foam was sprayed on the foundation walls to give this homeowner a tight envelope in the home where air is no longer leaking in and out causing the energy bills to increase. 

This Candor, NY double wide home had chilly floors in the winter time, and became unbearably warm during the summer.

We sprayed 2 inches of our Closed Cell spray foam to the underside of this double wide home to help stop the winter air from making the family cold, and to make it a bit cooler in the summer.
