This homeowner in Harpursville, NY wanted to be a bit more comfortable in his home. We proposed to do some work to the crawl space beneath the home. We laid down our 6 mil poly to the crawl space floor and sealed it to the sides of the foundation with our closed cell spray foam. We also sprayed 3 inches of our closed cell spray foam into the rim joists of the home for better comfort for the homeowners!
This Harpursville, NY mobile home owner was having difficulties keeping the house warm, especially the floors. Our free Home Comfort Evaluation showed that the fiberglass from the underside of the home was falling down, opening up the underside to allow the cold air to seep in and cause the home to be cold. We proposed to remove the fiberglass that had fallen down and use our closed cell spray foam on the underside of the mobile home. 2 inches of closed cell spray foam was utilized on the underside of the mobile home to help keep the homeowners warmer in the cold.
This mobile home owner in Harpursville, NY was experiencing very cold floors, as well as had a water pipe burst beneath their home that caused the original fiberglass insulation to get heavy with water damage and sag away from the underside of the home.
We proposed to remove the sagging, water damaged insulation and install Tyvek around the pipes to protect them and then spray our Closed Cell Spray Foam to the underside of the mobile home. 3 inches of spray foam was used on the underside of this home to ensure a good amount of insulation to keep the floors warmer for this homeowner.
We had previously done work for these homeowners to their home and they were extremely happy with it. Mike called us again to see about having a small workshop area spray foamed off a barn addition, as he was unsure if he was going to heat the area.
We used 2 inches of our closed cell spray foam to the walls and roof deck of the shop, ensuring that this work area will remain warm enough for Mike to work in.

We air-sealed the underside of the structure and sprayed up to 3 inches of closed-cell foam on the underside. It helped a great deal to keep out the air flowing through the skirting of the mobile home. The homeowner and her children are now much more comfortable.
