McDonough, NY - Closed Cell Spray Foam

This homeowner in McDonough, NY suffered through the previous winter with many issues such as frozen pipes and extremely cold floors. Our assessment showed the homeowner that a lot of the fiberglass that used to be in the underside of his mobile home had fallen down and was on the ground, which would not keep him warm during the cold, nor keep the pipes from freezing with no insulation.

We proposed to remove the fiberglass batts that had fallen down and spray the underside of the mobile home with 3 inches of our closed cell spray foam to insulate the mobile home. This homeowner qualified for the work to be done to his home for free due to New York income guidelines. The homeowner felt an immediate difference in warmth of his floors, and is excited to know that his pipes will not be freezing this winter.

Ninevah, NY - Cellulose Insulation

This Ninevah, NY homeowner had recently redone the ceiling in her home and realized that there was no insulation in there and was dealing with outrageous heating bills.

We proposed to tackle the main attic space for her by air sealing all top plates and wire penetrations. We then did an open blow of 18" of cellulose insulation to the dammed section of attic space so some of the attic could still be utilized for storage for her, this part was dense packed with cellulose insulation. We also built a custom hatch kit for the attic access.
