Foam It Insulation Before & After Photos

This mobile home owner in Spencer, NY was feeling very cold during the winter despite using a space heater in the living room to try and keep warm. He also complained of cold rooms and floors in the kitchen and bathroom - he wanted to be warmer in his home but reduce his heat and electric bills. We proposed to spray the underside of the mobile home with 3 inches of our closed cell spray foam to help retain the heat he was paying for the stay inside the home, and to prevent the cold air from coming up beneath the home and coming into the floors giving him an uncomfortably cold experience.

This project involved insulating a 3 season room in a home in Spencer, NY.

3 inches of closed cell foam was sprayed to the roof deck.  Though it can't be seen here, the walls were sprayed with 2 inches of foam.  This room will now be more comfortable all year around.

Can lights and ceiling fans can be a major source of conditioned air leakage in the home. This can be remedied by installing and sealing a cover which also separates their moving parts and wiring from the TruSoft insulation.

This Nichols, NY homeowner had a double wide with a small addition. She had called us to see if she qualified for Empower work. Our guys went out a performed an HCE and we discovered that the fiberglass from the underbelly of the home was falling out leaving them uncomfortable and with very cold floors. 

To make this home more comfortable and energy efficient for the homeowner, we tore out the old falling down, dirty fiberglass and put some Tyvek up then sprayed our closed cell spray foam to the underside of the mobile home. This fills in any gaps and cracks and creates a seal that won't allow the cold air to gain entrance inside. Our crew then replaced the skirting around the outside.

This home in Nichols, NY was experiencing uneven heating throughout.

We sprayed 3 inches of closed cell foam to the roof deck and gable ends.  Along with other aspects of the project, this made a big difference in the comfort level being consistent through the entire home.
