This Endicott, NY home was lacking in attic insulation. This customer had the master bedroom above the attached garage, and it wasn't as insulated as it could be. The master bedroom was quite cold and pipes were freezing during the winter months.
We proposed to air seal the side attic space that was creating a lot of drafts for this homeowner and then dense pack it with our TruSoft Cellulose. The end result was a much warmer master bedroom for these homeowners.
This Endicott, NY mobile home was lacking insulation beneath the home, causing the floors to be extremely cold. We proposed to remedy this issue for the homeowner by using our closed cell spray foam on the bottom of the mobile home. 2 inches of our closed cell spray foam was utilized to make the floors warmer by preventing air from leaking into the home. The homeowner can now enjoy warmer floors through the chilly winter!
This Endicott, NY homeowner had no insulation in the basement of her home. The rim joists were full of old, dirty fiberglass that we removed. We sprayed 2 inches of our Closed Cell Spray Foam into the rim joists. We also sprayed the foundation walls with closed cell spray foam. There were also basement stairs leading to outside, the walls of the staircase were sprayed with 2 inches of spray foam, and the roof of the staircase received 3 inches of spray foam.
These Endicott, NY homeowners were frustrated with the amount of dust in their home. They had their ductwork cleaned, but were experiencing more dust after the cleaning than they did before. In order to help eliminate this issue for them, we proposed to remove the fiberglass above the decking of the attic, as well as the insulation from the duct work itself. Once airsealing was complete, we used our closed cell spray foam on the duct work as well as the roof deck. 3 inches of spray foam was used for these. We also did some work in the basement, where there were several empty rim joists, while others were filled with fiberglass. We removed the fiberglass, and filled the rim joists with 3 inches of closed cell spray foam as well.
This creates a tighter seal, with the dust eliminated from the home making it healthier for these homeowners and their infant.
