The attic of this home in Constantia, NY needed insulation.
4 inches of closed cell foam was sprayed to the roof deck. This will improve the comfort of the home as well as lowering energy usage.
Side attics can be tricky, especially in cape cods. These areas are hard to insulate and are culprits of being very leaky which attributes to the large temperature change in the attic versus the rest of the home. These side attics specifically were inaccessible which meant that we needed to go in from the outside and make our own entrance. That is exactly what we did and now this attic is very well insulated and will help the homeowners be much more comfortable.

This Binghamton, NY home was not as comfortable as it should have been.
In the attic, we built a large storage deck with 2 inch foam board underneath. That was dammed off in places to allow an open blow of 14 inches of cellulose insulation in the rest of the attic. The home is now much more comfortable and energy efficient as a result.
