This project involved insulating a 3 season room in a home in Spencer, NY.
3 inches of closed cell foam was sprayed to the roof deck. Though it can't be seen here, the walls were sprayed with 2 inches of foam. This room will now be more comfortable all year around.
This Nichols, NY homeowner had a double wide with a small addition. She had called us to see if she qualified for Empower work. Our guys went out a performed an HCE and we discovered that the fiberglass from the underbelly of the home was falling out leaving them uncomfortable and with very cold floors.
To make this home more comfortable and energy efficient for the homeowner, we tore out the old falling down, dirty fiberglass and put some Tyvek up then sprayed our closed cell spray foam to the underside of the mobile home. This fills in any gaps and cracks and creates a seal that won't allow the cold air to gain entrance inside. Our crew then replaced the skirting around the outside.

We sprayed 3 inches of closed cell foam to the roof deck and gable ends. Along with other aspects of the project, this made a big difference in the comfort level being consistent through the entire home.

We sprayed 2 inches of closed cell foam on the foundation walls. The crawlspace is now better insulated and the rooms above will be more comfortable as a result.

Along with air sealing, we did an open blow of 14 inches of cellulose insulation. The home will now be more comfortable and energy costs will decrease.
