After removing the old insulation and air sealing, 14 inches of cellulose insulation was blown in. The home will be more comfortable and use less energy as a result.

The attic was air sealed then 12 inches of cellulose insulation was blown in. There was also a storage deck built to hold attic storage. Part of the barrier keeping the cellulose off the deck is seen in the second photo. As a result of the work done here, the home will be both more comfortable and more energy efficient than before.
