Foam It Insulation Before & After Photos

Here we have another attic in need of better insulation.  This one is in a home in Binghamton, NY.

The old insulation was removed and the attic was air sealed.  14 inches of cellulose insulation was then blown in, improving the comfort of the home and decreasing energy usage.

Shown here is a side attic in a Cape Cod style home in Binghamton, NY.

It needed insulation so we sprayed 3 inches of closed cell foam to the roof deck and gable end.  Along with other aspects of the project, this will contribute to improving the comfort of the home as well as reducing energy usage.

The knee wall and gable ends were sprayed with 2 inches of closed cell foam.  4 inches of foam was sprayed on the roof deck.  The home will be more comfortable and energy efficient as a result.

2 inches of closed cell foam was sprayed to the top 4 feet of the foundation wall.  This will help cut down on drafts and help make the home more comfortable.
