Wall insulation is a broad term. We don't like to cut corners or skimp compared to our actual abilities. When Foam It Insulation thinks about wall insulation, we are thinking of the rim joist, the entire wall, and all the way to the floor and slightly on the floor. We make a complete seal. We want to make sure that there is no possible way that you will have air leakage from those walls. That is just one commitment that Foam It has continued with since day 1.
This customer wanted insulation blown into their walls. Siding was carefully removed, and holes were drilled through the home in order for the hoses needed to get through. TruSoft cellulose was then blown into the holes created, making sure to fill the depths of the cavities where no insulation had existed prior. Once the insulation was blown in as needed, the holes were plugged with wooden cedar plugs and sealed. The siding was then placed with the same care it was removed.
This customer wanted the crawl space beneath the home spray foamed for added insulation. 2 inches of closed-cell spray were utilized for this project's crawl space.
New construction - the customer wanted the walls spray-foamed with closed-cell spray.
For this customer, we again utilized our closed cell spray foam to insulate the homeowner's attic. The spray foam helps seal the attic so air cannot escape - which is the air you pay to heat in the winter and cool in the summer.
