We proposed a series of solutions such as insulating his attic, basement, and exterior walls. This is a photo of the exterior walls being dense packed with TruSoft Insulation so that the home will be much more comfortable for the homeowner and he can enjoy his retirement in style at his very own home.
Deposit, NY - Spray Foam Insulation
This Deposit, NY homeowner met income qualifications to have work done to her home at no cost to the homeowner through the NYSERDA program. This allowed this homeowner to have air sealing done to her pellet stove to prevent large drafts during the cold winter months, her crawl space to be encapsulated using 6 mil poly as a vapor barrier which was then spray foamed to the sides of the crawl space to ensure the poly doesn't fall down. 2 inches of our closed cell spray foam was also applied to the foundation walls to ensure no air is leaking into the foundation of the home, making it colder in the winter and warmer in the summer months.
